Early years
There was always an inner voice whispering to me how fascinating dogs are, and how wonderfully I could communicate with them if I just was given a chance. It was the deep bond between a human and a dog and emotional communication that intrigued me fiercely from the early beginning.
I danced a lot, and studied music before doing dogsports. These hobbies gave me good body control and awareness of my voice, which helped later so much in my dog training career.
How did it begin?
I got my first Belgian Shepherd Dog, Jaki, as a teenager. All my days were spent in dog training fields, and Jaki became a working champion in searching dog trials.
When I decided to get my first working malinois more than 20 years ago, my mission was clear: to become one day a World Champion in IGP.

World Champion & Obedience Enthusiast
Over the years I've trained two of my dogs to become World Champions, and they have overall reached six individual world championship medals.
I absolutely love to inspire dogs to find a flow state and my dogs are known for their energetic, but yet perfectly controlled and harmonic obedience performances. They have been awarded numerous times for having the best obedience routine in different championships.

Me as a Coach
As a coach, I’m not looking for a ‘win’ per say, but rather a long and rewarding career. I always adapt my coaching and techniques for each individual. During my extensive career I’ve developed an eye for different types of dogs, handlers, and their unique needs as a team.
My special gift is to get different kinds of dogs engaged and inspired of learning and I'm skilled at breaking down my expertise into simple, easy-to-understand steps that dog owners can practice and master.
Many of my students have been amazed that changing something so small in their handling can completely change their dog’s behaviour.
